City Sundries       Old-Fashioned Soda Fountain

As you step through the 10-foot high original double doors, City Sundries takes you back to a simpler time.   Sitting around a marble ice cream table sipping a bubbling soda may be a thing of the past, but the experience is enjoyed daily at this unique shop. 

Visit for a fresh-made grilled sandwich or wrap, a cool ice cream treat or a fresh-squeezed cherry limeade. Cherry phosphates, vanilla root beer floats and creamy chocolate malts are all created  behind the antique marble counter. 

Bring the grandchildren to share the unique soda-sipping experience that you enjoyed as a child.

Featuring all original interior including marble counters and metal soda shop chairs  and tables, stained glass and walnut mirrored bar and bent wood walnut  display cases, the early 1900's fixtures  continue to be the used for daily business.  Other antiques from the building's first century line the walls as display.   The 1888 building was originally a pharmacy.  Interesting memoribilia from that time and trade are also displayed.

City Sundries is open seven days a week.   Monday through Saturday opening time is at 10 am and on Sunday at noon.  Our closing time varies by the season.  Summer months we are open until 9 pm.
